Fair food, a little pricey, GREAT location & patio..
Before I went to Rosita's, I heard some incredible things about it. After going there at least 3 or 4 times, I've come to the conclusion that we really only go there for the experience of sitting on the patio and watching the boats go by. The food is "eh" at best, plain Mexican food and every time I've eaten there I've felt there could be something done better. The salsa usually tastes like marinara sauce, but the service has always been excellent and I love sitting outside.
The drinks are good, the staff is attentive and despite the fact that some of the plates are somewhat expensive, you always walk out feeling full. Another thing I particularly am not a fan of is the fact that they somehow season their sour cream, which is gross. There's no need to stir parsley or cilantro or whatever into your sour cream. I'd like to see flautas on the menu, but tonight I ordered chimichangas and they were quite delicious. Good rice and beans, hot food and delicious guacamole. I've been to many better Mexican places, but none have the charming enclosed patio area I will always want to return to.

Excellent Food on the Waterfront.
I was very pleased with this restaurant. The food was incredible, the menu was very large with both Mexican and Spanish dishes. The service was prompt and very friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed with great views of the Rondout. I have been there a few times with my girlfriend and she loves the place as much as I do. The frozen Margaritas are dangerously good.

Great restaurant on the water.
Very pleased! Friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere on the water, great quality food. I love that there is outdoor dining right on the water in the warmer weather. I have been there several times so far, and I have been consistently pleased.
