greasy spoon. I ordered a lunch special, take away. If I had stayed, I would have walked out if they tried to serve this food to me. The mulligatawny soup was a liquid salt-lick, the rice was overcooked, and the spinach with cheese was tasteless, featuring a thick layer of orange oil on the surface of the dish. Utterly gross! I am only glad I hadn't ordered dessert.

Tasty, satisfying Indian. Good food, good naan, especially the onion naan. I have tried the lamb, the chicken tikka and the vegetable curry, and have been quite pleased. Best Indian I have tried in the area so far (that would include the one in Red Hook and the new one on Raymond in Poughkeepsie). I am accustomed to NYC Indian restaurants and this one makes the grade.
