Rude and tasteless. Stay away. Owner is a very rude man. Even his waitstaff complains about his demeanor. Tip: Don't try to return tasteless food. Be satisfied with poorly prepared lobster. Don't ask to discuss the food with the owner. Don't dare to ask that food be taken off the bill. Maybe then the dining experience will be palatable (likely not).

exelent food & service. lousy owner!. have eaten hear many times, and its on our best eats

list, for sure. had a problem one night, with the bill.

the waitress agreed with us, that the bill was wrong,

but said she was poweless to correct it! we could hardly believe our ears. we`ve been loyal customers,

for years. bring our out of town frineds here when we

want to put on the dog. [the atmosphire is hard to beat]

anyway, we asked to see the manager, and was told the owner was available. we watched the watress go over and talk to him, then he looked at us, and promptly

left I stood by the front desk, for some time waiting,

until they told me, the owner had left! I was furious, but we had company with us, so I paid the check

and no tip. we still go back every now and then. the

service is quick, and the food exelent, but watch out,

the owners, amy leave a bad tase, in your muth. vpaul

WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER - One star is too much.. I went to Roudigans with Friends on a Friday night. It wasn't crowded. Several of us had been traveling and weren't that hungry, so we ordered the Soup & Salad Bar special... of course, half way through our order, the waitress said, "Oh, I need to go pick up some food for another table; I'll be back," and left!

When she came back, she finished taking our order and when we asked for water, she yelled across the dining room to another staff person to, "Get over here and get these women some water!" We must have looked shocked, because she explained that her behavior was the only way "to get those people"'s attention.

The food wasn't all that good and it took over 40 minutes for a medium-well hamburger! At the end of the meal, we were brought the check, where we charged for 4 soup & salad bar specials and 3 soups. We asked the waitress for an explanation and were told that the only soup that was included in the special was the soup du jour. We looked on the menu and nowhere did it mention this. Our waitress admitted that she hadn't told us. When we asked to have the soups removed from the bill (one plate of salad from the salad bar, a bowl of soup, and 2 rolls is not worth $15), we were told that it was restaurant policy and that it was not up for discussion. The manager was absolutely belligerent, and when we asked to speak to the owner (who was on bar), he ran into the kitchen and refused to come out. We actually watched him run into the kitchen rather than speak to us.

As we left, the manager and waitress followed us out harassing us for not leaving a tip! They were lucky we paid the whole bill at that point.

Please, avoid this place at all costs. Worst restaurant EVER.
