Hole in the Wall !!

A friend of mine told me about how we can have a good time at a bar next to Vassar College. A little skeptical I was becuase i had just returend from school in Miami and knowing that the nightlife in upstate NY is really not what my standards were being from Miami. As soon as we enetered into this little cabin, the atmosphere blew me away. The overly friendly locals were very inviting and the mood made you feel like a "home coming" event. The food (mexican oriented) was a delight to eat with all of the spices and robust flavors bursting out that mexican food has to offer. The bar was jam packed with locals from every corner of Poughkeepsie. Over all the Dutch Tavern was and is a joy to come to everytime we stop by.
- Pros: Great food, Great Dinks , Awsome Atmosphere
- Cons: Crowded on Sat. , long wait on weekend
