Best Restaurant in Woodstock.
Of all the businesses that come and go, Joshua's goes on and on. I come all the way to Woodstock specifically for the yummy smorgasbord, zucchini flatcakes, and hands down best falafel I've ever had. Their dinner specials change often and showcase the chef's creativity and commitment to deliciousness, seasonal, local food.
It is unassuming on its demure corner, but most of the best things are the most modest. The love is in the food.

The best restaurant in town..
I love this place. Their soups are the BEST. Waitstaff most of whom have been there for years. Bill not only remembers your name, but what you do for a living. I love you, Bill!! Flat zuchini cakes, humus, everything, the greatest. Great value for your money. Great food. I can't say more.

One of the best restaurants in the Hudson Valley..
Nobody can deny that Joshua's is one of the best restaurants in the Hudson Valley. Great local food and the best server ever(Gennarose)! Don't miss out on a great meal.

Delicious food, attentive service.
This is a terrific restaurant. The food is consistently delicious. Their specials change often. Add that to a big and varied menu, it doesn't get boring. I've eaten there over many years and I'm not bored yet! I like that they feature, in addition to various dishes with chicken, beef, and fish, well-thought out and good tasting vegan and vegetarian dishes. I give this small, intimate restaurant a rave. The servers are friendly and attentive even when the place is full and they are busy.

Great food, great service.
I loved it. We went on a early sunday evening and had no wait for a table. The server was very attentive. The strawberry mojito was better than anything I ever had in the city. If you are going to get a meal in downtown Woodstock. This is the place to go, especially if you want vegan & vegetarian freindly food.

Best Falafel I've Ever Had..
Yes, this place is busy, and there is always a wait, but most places with great food have a wait. I had the best falafel ("Super Falafel" in fact, with tabouleh salad) I've ever had (and I've had plenty!) and the baba ghanoush, with a blueberry smoothie. All were excellent.
Service was good, and the hostess even noticed that we didn't have water with our other drinks and asked if we would like some. All in all a great lunch!

Food Vs Service.
Shopping for taste, not time?
Joshua's serves wonderful food and the prep is good, but prepare to wait up to two hours to get in, and up to an hour to be fed.
